Shower Curtain Design

There are two ways to enter your shower. The first is to install a sleek door (preferably glass) that will help to give you a more private area to shower. The second is to use a simple yet elegant and refined shower curtain. Though having a glass door to use seems luxurious for some people it is confining.

When choosing the right shower curtain design you have to pick something that is made with high quality materials. If you have it in your head to be cheap and spend only $5 or $10 then you can get the plastic shower curtain. But don’t be surprised when these become ruined within a few weeks.

The plastic shower curtains are stiff, boring, and will mildew easily. The only way to really clean them is to throw them away and buy more. Rather then waste your money invest in a shower curtain that will look great and that will stay clean. Find something made with cotton, polyester, or both. To clean these all you do is take them down and throw them in the washer machine.

Master Bath Shower Curtains

Out of all the bathrooms in the house the master bathroom is supposed to be the biggest and the most luxurious. After a hard day, wrangling with your school, fielding calls from angry clients, and trying to clean the house you deserve to have your own in house spa. Or at least something that simulates it.

To help create the luxurious look you need to find a shower curtain design that is going to match up with the colors on the walls and any bathroom rugs and accessories. You want to stick to warm or bright colors that will help you to relax and feel at peace. Extremely dark colors like black, dark brown, and dark red should not be an option in bathrooms with poor lighting. They will only make it difficult for you to see what you are doing and will make the shower design feel much smaller.

Try to find something with an elegant pattern on it and one that is made with polyester, cotton, or both. You may have to spend $30 – but in the end your shower will look great and you will love to use it every day.

Children’s Bath Shower Curtains

Choosing a shower curtain design for your children is one of the easiest things in the world. All you have to do is find something that has their favorite cartoon character, sport, or hobby that they love. Just make sure that the shower curtain is made with plastic like so many of them are. Pay the extra $10 to $15 and get something that will last for a few years.

The only time you should try to use a different design is when the children’s bath is also the guest bath. Have something that is fun for the children – but not so much that guests feel awkward using it. Opt for a simple polka dot pattern or flower pattern shower curtain design.
