Doorless Shower Design

Doorless showers are some of the most coveted shower designs because they are luxurious, have many features that are hard to use on a regular shower, and can be found in an array of styles and designs. There are three main ways that you are able to use for your doorles shower; glass, ceramic, and labrinyth.

Glass Doorless Design

Most of us will choose to opt for the classic and luminous glass doorless shower design. This is well known for its beauty and the flexibility that it has. This allows you to use a number of fixtures and accent colors that will help to give you the look that will match your bathroom. If you want something simple then instead of accent colors you can simply use frosted glass. This will give the user more privacy.

With this design the water needs to be moving to the structure wall or the enclosing wall. The entrance is best situated on the side of the shower and will help to prevent the water from getting out. The most efficient method is to design a small raised edge or lip at the bottom of the entrance.

Ceramic Tile Doorless Design

Ceramic tiles are another popular style that is used for a more elegant shower. This allows you to use various colors and create patterns that help it to look sophisticated. This material is safe to use and is one of the easiest to clean. However, you must be careful where you place each tile if you are trying to make a distinct pattern.

The best way to help you determine what pattern to use is to take a large piece of graph paper and fill in where each tile should be. Each graph is the size of one tile. When you are done transfer the design to the wall and simply fill it in.

Labyrinth Doorless Design

This is a more unique design that many people are not aware of. This is built with a short walkway in the shape of a G where you enter the shower. This is helpful because it will prevent water from escaping, keeps drafts out, and helps to keep you from losing steam during a hot shower. It is also helpful at giving you some much needed privacy.
